Our lives are a series of paths that take us in different directions.
Nineteen years ago I crossed paths with Paul when the DFW Home Guide was just a vision. I believed in his vision and started helping with the creation of his dream.

For the Volume 19, No. 8 issue (Sept. 28-Oct. 25) We are turning PINK!

Then my journey took a different path and led me "home" to Colorado.
Through technology I was able to continue with the magazine and once a month we are frantically emailing back and forth as we prepare the magazine for print.

Eleven years ago, I was set on a path that I did NOT choose.
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 33. As you can imagine the first couple of weeks were very difficult! When I could choose my next path I started down a road I like to call "to infinity and beyond". I have been blessed in many ways on this journey. I believe that my family, friends and a positive attitude are a big part of my being an eleven year survivor.  Paul, friend first - now family, was the first to give me a pink ribbon t-shirt and my first Buzz Lightyear (that makes more sense when you read my bio).

NOW my journey is bringing me back to Dallas for a very special reason. Through these past 11 years, I have become very involved with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and specifically the Race for the Cure. October 20, 2007 will be the 25th Dallas Race for the Cure and I will be there!! I have been working hard this year to make Dallas my 11th Race for the Cure in 2007 and if you want to find out more about my running, go to: www.run2infinity.com

Please join us! My team name is "Run2infinity", so you can join my team or start your own.  There are many ways to help support and celebrate this very special event and for more information, to donate or register log on to: www.komen-dallas.org

Through these 19 years of working on the DFW Home Guide, our advertisers have become part of our family. The above have contributed towards making a difference in finding a cure. We applaud their efforts and generosity.
Thank you!
