SEE THE 2004 HOPE QUILT --->--->---> Check back soon for next display site AND the quilt/wallhanging we are drawing for this year!
Created by quilt artist, Vinda Robison, in 2004 as a fundraiser for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Pink strips/squares were sold "in recognition/in memory" and once quilt was done, tickets were sold and a drawing was held for one lucky winner. We lucked out as the winner donated it back to be used as a visual education and awareness piece. Once you see it, you will understand why! It will also be on display at the Teller County Fair!
Vinda is a Colorado Springs resident with a full-time quilt business. She can quilt your project...create a commission piece just for you ... hold individual and group classes ... to contact her send email to: quilt4pink@run2infinity.com **********************************************************

We each have a talent ... but I've learned that when we use and give that talent "unconditionally" it is at that point it becomes a gift! - Me
The intent of this web site will be to inspire others to live beyond adversity and be stronger for the challenge. In 1996 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 33. Thanks to family, friends, a sense of humor (warped at times) and a strong mental attitude I have successfully moved beyond diagnosis and treatments. I honestly feel blessed for the diagnosis because of the changes it has made, the people (Angels) I have met, the places it has taken me and the strength I have found as a result.
Every day I wake up is a good day, and if I have done one small thing to make a difference then it is a great day. I feel my voluntarism and work with Susan G. Komen for the Cure© and Race for the Cure© has empowered me and is keeping my "karma cup" full. I had the honor of doing a video to help celebrate 25 years of Komen, see my video message at HERE

Leading the Parade of Pink at the 2006 National Race for the Cure© - DC! Nancy Brinker (obviously more comfortable with the cameras) made the announcement of my winning the Suzy Komen Award...and I got a hug from Condoleeza Rice!
I Love having a web site and a creative outlet AND it is so easy! Click here to get started today!
